This is a question that gives rise to many answers. However, I will focus on strategies the student can develop in order to maximize their learning. In addition to the classes you can take with us, there are other simple steps you can take to learn English.

According to Cambridge University studies, we learn English through exposure to the language. We need to be surrounded by language. Therefore, many people decide to live abroad. This means that I only learn if I live outside Brazil, right? Wrong. Below I will put some tips that will help you to be more exposed to the language.

Social media

You probably have a profile on some social media. In which language do you access, for example, Facebook? In Portuguese? If that's your answer, you can switch to English. Also, you can like pages that post news in English. There are pages for learners that post grammar rules, vocabulary, expressions, etc. Interacting with the pages also helps, such as leaving  comments.

Films

It's always important to do something you enjoy. And if you like movies, why not give it a little effort and put the English subtitles on? You don't need to watch the entire movie, but you can watch in parts. Another tip is: each time you watch, focus on some aspect of the language. For example, one day focus on vocabulary, that way you might write down the words you don't know and look them up in the dictionary. Another day, focus on pronunciation. And so on.

YouTube

Why not watch the interviews  of your favorite artist in english? Of course, it needs to be someone who has English as a native language. When we do what we like, we learn more.

educational books

Did you know that there are books by famous writers adapted for those learning English? And they are even classified by levels. These books can be found in the largest bookstores in the country. When you read, you practice your reading, improve your vocabulary and consolidate your grammar.

Smartphone/Apps

Have you already put your smartphone in English? Another thing you can do is download "apps" that help you practice the language. One  very famous  is the Duolingo. These apps will help you stay in touch with the language.

Anyway, everything you can read, download, watch or listen to in English will increase your exposure to the language. You saw how many things you can do right here in Brazil. And never forget, learning another language requires persistence and dedication. To the next.
